Each of our teachers brings unique skills and expertise, ensuring that your children receive the best possible support in their learning journey. With our growing team, we are better equipped than ever to provide individualized attention and foster a love for learning in every student.
Introducing Our Teachers:
• Mrs. Chrissy Christina oversees majority of the educational aspects of our center, bringing over two decades of teaching experience to her role. She is certified in the Orton-Gillingham program, a specialized approach to teaching students with reading and writing challenges. Her passion and classroom expertise are integral to the success of our center.
•Mr. Josh A cornerstone of our team, Mr. Josh has been with the JEI Learning Center for over a year. As an excellent math teacher, he continues to make a difference in our students' lives. He even tutored Mr. Jay’s son numerous times in Calculus, highlighting his dedication and expertise.
•Mrs. Christine Christine Kelly is a dedicated educator with 25 years of experience supporting elementary students in grades K-3. She previously served as a Special Education Teacher in Lawrence Township Public Schools (1998-2023) and is currently a substitute teacher in the Hamilton School District.
Christine brings a calm, structured, multi-sensory approach to learning and is excited to support JEI Mercerville students in both Math and English. Parents can expect clear guidance, and consistent encouragement as students work toward their goals. Look for her at the center on Wednesdays.
• Ms. Sophia Sophia was previously the co-coordinator of the Bordentown Regional School District’s STEM for Kids program, an after-school program where she helped lead STEM-based lessons and activities for 4th-8th grade students. Additionally, she was a Peer Mentor during her education at Rowan College at Burlington County, where she graduated with honors in 2022. She's currently completing her bachelor’s degree in Communications at The College of New Jersey. Her education and community involvement has allowed her to develop a well-rounded skill set and a comprehensive understanding of how to work with students of all ages. "I'm looking forward to helping students grow and learn in my upcoming time with JEI Learning Center!"
•Mr. Jake He earned his Bachelor’s degrees in Law and Philosophy from Rowan University, with minors in Writing and Ethics. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in ELA Education. Jacob is excited to join the team and bring his experience in writing and his volunteer work with children to support the program. He has been with us since December of 2025.
• Mr. Jay While our teachers take turns teaching throughout the week, having these extra teachers allows me to be at the front desk more often to interact with you and your children during their visits. It also gives me time to work on everyday tasks so I can get home to my family.
