Register now for the 2019 JEI Math Olympiad
With the infinite access to Internet-based resources, it’s hard for most students to see the point in perfecting their math skills. We at JEI Learning Centers across the country have the answer: the 2019 JEI Math Olympiad on March 9th! JEI welcomes current and former JEI students grade one through eight to participate in our Math Olympiad where they can put their problem-solving skills to the test. It’s a race against the clock as your child goes head-to-head with students from around the country to answer 30 math problems in 50 minutes. Questions will be specific to grade level and are based on JEI’s Problem Solving Math curriculum which challenges students to use critical thinking, reasoning, logic, and mathematical knowledge to learn to approach practical problem requiring math skills. REGISTRATION DATES Early Registration: January 15th - January 31st Standard Registration: February 1st - March 3rd If your child is ready to show us their math skills, Find a Center near you and register today! EVENT DATE & TIME The official date for the 2019 Math Olympiad contest is March 9th. Check-in and contest start times vary by center, please contact your local center for more information about when your child will be participating in the 2019 Math Olympiad. 2018 JEI Essay Contest!
Join JEI Learning Center students across the nation in the 2018 Essay Contest! This submission-based contest will help your students focus their Reading and Writing skills for the chance to win cash prizes and have their work featured in the inaugural JEI Learning Center 2018 Essay Content Winners literature publication. Submissions will be scored by division (below) and the ability to fully complete the prompt provided. Division A - Grades 2-3 Division B - Grades 4-5 Division C - Grades 6-7 Division D - Grades 8-9 Registration costs $25 per student and students can register for this contest at their local JEI center through October 31st.
