Hello, I am the Director of JEI South San Jose. I'd worked in education field for a long time (10 years +) before I opened the center in 2005. As a mom of two and an educator, I already knew the reputation of JEI system and the effectiveness of JEI programs.
Personally, I 100% agree with JEI's educational philosophy: good study habit & strong, concrete foundation lead children succeed in school.
Being with children and nourishing them through education is my lifetime call and happiness.
AHomework will vary by the child’s ability level. Typically, it will take less than half an hour per day.
AStudents will do the remaining pages of the workbook as homework. JEI recommends they complete a few pages daily.
AStudents come to the center once a week. The weekly session for each subject is typically one hour long.
AEach week, students receive one workbook for the subject they are enrolled in. Instructors will review the key concept pages of the week with the students.
AStudents will take Achievement and Diagnostic Tests periodically. In JEI Math and JEI English, students take an interim test during each weekly session.
AClasses have a maximum ratio of five students to one teacher.
AA JEI Learning Center generally open starting in the early afternoon hours on most weekdays. For specific center hours, please contact your nearest center.
